TUSKEGEE – The Tuskegee University Lady Golden Tigers' volleyball team dropped their contest against Spring Hill 3-0 (25-11, 25-10 and 25-15) and defeated Miles College 3-1 (28-16, 25-23, 25-20, and 25-15).
In the game against Spring Hill,
Pamela Allen tallied seven kills, one assist and one dig.
Tesharia Judkins and
Kristal Woodard added five kills each. Woodard also added one assist, dig, and serving ace.
Aarin Huffman added 10 aces and three digs; while
Morgan Scrivens totaled eight assists, one dig and one dig.
Tuskegee had 21 kills, 20 assists, one ace, 15 digs, one solo block and two block assists.
In their late match against Miles, the Lady Golden Tigers were led by
Pamela Allen with 17 kills, three digs, one solo block and three block assists.
Kristal Woodard added eight kills, two aces, six digs and three block assists.
Aarin Huffman put up an impressive 20 assists, two aces and three digs.
Morgan Scrivens also had a stellar showing with 15 assists, two aces and two digs.
Tuskegee combined for 45 kills, 39 assists, seven aces, 38 digs, five solo blocks and 14 block assists.
The Lady Golden Tigers will be back in action when they travel to Mobile, Alabama, to take on Spring Hill and Stillman College in the Spring Hill Tri-Match on October 18, 2014. First serve is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. versus Stillman and 3:00 p.m. versus Spring Hill.
