JACKSON, Tenn. – The Golden Tigers remained in striking distance but were unable to finish off the Lane Dragons, dropping the contest 64-54.
Lane ends Tuskegee's three game winning streak by 10-points. The first half was well balanced, yet the Dragons were able to take a narrow six-point lead heading into the locker room at halftime.
The second half was better in scoring for both teams but Lane had the competitive edge, scoring 36-points to the Golden Tigers' 32.
David Alexander led the team with 15-points, five rebounds, three assists and one steal. Camden Foster added 13-points, eight rebounds and two assists, while Graham Olatunji contributed 11-points, three rebounds, two steals and one assist. The Golden Tigers finished shooting 37.5 percent from the field and 53.8 from the free throw line. They finished with 28 rebounds, eight assists, four steals and one block.
Donald Stewart guided the Dragons with 21-points, six rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block.
