HUNTSVILLE, Ala. | The Tuskegee University volleyball team fell to the University of Alabama-Huntsville 3-0 (25-20,25-19,25-10) in the regular season finale Saturday afternoon.
Tuskegee (12-17, 12-8 SIAC) was led by freshman
Taliyana Bryant on the afternoon with 11 kills, a match-high for the North Little Rock native. She finished the day hitting .259 with only four errors on 27 total attacks. Fellow freshman
Jessica Johnson finished with seven kills, while
Shakayia Wilson added five kills.
Janae Graham finished with 29 assists on the team's 31 kills, while
Zahria Radford posted a match-high nine digs. The team finished hitting .176 on the night with 31 kills on 91 total attacks.
UAH was led by Ali Lowe with nine kills, while Kirsten Giles added 22 assists in the the win.
The Lady Golden Tigers will now prepare for the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) tournament that will be held in Birmingham, at the Crossplex, beginning next Wednesday.
