TUSKEGEE, Ala | The Tuskegee University men's basketball team will play two games in two days ... in two different venues as they travel to face Morehouse College on Saturday and then play host to Johnson C. Smith University on Sunday afternoon.
Game time is set for 3:00 pm (est) on Saturday against Morehouse on the road and can be heard on the Tuskegee Digital Network, while the game on Sunday is scheduled for 3:30 pm (cst) and can be seen on the Tuskegee Digital Network.
James Eads leads Tuskegee (0-7) this season in scoring at 17.3 points per game, and is shooting 41.3 (31-of-75) percent from the floor and has posted a career-high 31 points earlier this season against Montevallo on the road. Flagg is the only other player in double figures for Tuskegee at 12.6 points per game and has dished out 2.6 assists per game for the Golden Tigers.
Myles Thomas is nearing double figures following his 15-point performance against Georgia College, now standing at 7.3 points and 4.7 rebounds per game. He is shooting 85.7 (12-of-14) percent from the free throw line on the year for Tuskegee. Meanwhile,
Austin Cherry is averging 6.9 points and 3.6 rebounds per game off the bench, the highest scoring output of the year for Tuskegee off the bench.
The Golden Tigers come into the weekend off of a 65-56 loss to Georgia College on the road, a game in which they were in foul trouble early and were led by
Travis Flagg with 17 points. Meanwhile,
Myles Thomas added 15 and
James Eads 12 - all in the second half after early foul trouble.
