LIVINGSTON, Ala. | The Tuskegee University women's tennis team fell to the University of West Alabama 5-0 in non-conference action Tuesday afternoon.
 
West Alabama (1-0 ) was able to sweep through doubles play when they claimed an 8-2 victory at number one doubles over Tuskegee's Reicia North and Monica Thomas, and that was followed with an 8-5 victory at number two doubles.
 
The doubles was completed when West Alabama claimed number three doubles 8-1 over Tuskegee's Kayla Triche and Taylor Wilson.
 
In singles play, West Alabama got wins at number one and number two before the remainder of the match was not finished due to falling temperatures and windy conditions.
 
Tuskegee (1-2) returns to action Thursday against Stillman College in Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action. The match begins at 10 am Thursday morning in Tuscaloosa.
