The Tuskegee University men's basketball team will make its home debut Tuesday night at Chappie James Arena when they host Johnson C. Smith in a non-conference tilt.
The Golden Bulls will be TU's third opponent in three days after opening the season with losses to Lee University (81-45) and West Georgia (87-72) Saturday and Sunday respectively. Leading scorer James Eads was held to five points in the opener only to pour in 27 points one day later against UWG. Senior guard Travis Flagg has been efficient averaging 15 points per contest in his first two outings.
Gregg Boyd was a pleasant surprise scoring 10 points off the bench in his first ever game in a Tuskegee (0-2,0-0) uniform.
Johnson C. Smith (2-0, 0-0) enters the game with wins over West Virgina State and the University of Virginia College at Wise. They are led by Robert Davis and his 24 points per game.
The last time the two schools met, TU earned a 61-53 win while holding the Golden Bulls to 23 percent shooting.
