Four players scored in double figures as Tuskegee snapped a five game losing streak with a 74-70 win at Johnson C. Smith Monday night in a non-conference tilt from Charlotte. The victory ties the season series after the Golden Tigers fell at home to the Golden Bulls in double overtime this past November.

Myles Thomas, who made five three pointers against JCS in the last meeting scored 15 points along with three treys to lead TU.  Travis Flagg also added 15 points and five assists while James Eads poured in 12 points and eight rebounds on the evening.

Tuskegee (2-12,1-5) held Robert Davis, who scored 35 points for Johnson C. Smith (8-5, 1-0) in the previous meeting to 18 points on 6-of-24 shooting including an 0-for-7 mark from three point range.

The Golden Tiger led by as many as 20 points in the second half and outscored Johnson C Smith's bench 23-8. The 40.4 percent shooting percentage for TU was the second 

Daniel Roach came off of the bench for TU to score 14 points on 3-of-4 shooting from three point range.  The Golden Tigers converted on 42.9 percent of their three pointers.

Tuskegee will remain on the road and face Kentucky State in a double header this Saturday that starts at 1 p.m.
