TUSKEGEE – Tuskegee men's basketball will look to extend its three-game winning streak on Saturday afternoon when the Golden Tigers host Spring Hill in the final home game inside the Daniel "Chappie" James Center.

Tuskegee (11-13, 10-7 SIAC) is coming off a gritty double overtime win over LeMoyne-Owen this past Monday night, defeating the Magicians, 81-76.
The trio of
Kusamae Draper,
D'Anthony Pennington, and
Kevin Sesberry combined for 55 points on the night, along with contributions from a number of other players to turn back the Magicians and earn the win.
The Golden Tigers controlled the first half, leading 38-25 at the break, however LeMoyne-Owen fought back in the second, outscoring TU 32-19 over the final 20 minutes to force overtime.
Draper recorded a double-double with 21 points and 19 rebounds to lead Tuskegee. He also had four assists, one steal and a block. Sesberry finished with 19 points, six rebounds, one assist, three steals and two blocks, while Pennington had 15 points, three rebounds, nine assists and three steals.
Saturday's contest is key in conference standings, as the two teams are tied for second place the SIAC West.
Spring Hill comes in at 13-10 overall, 10-7 in league play and on a two-game win streak after defeating LeMoyne-Owen (Feb. 10) and Lane (Feb. 12).
This past week, guard Isaiah Veal was named SIAC Player of the Week after recording 28 points while shooting 4-of-4 from the free throw line in a 113-75 win over the Magicians. He also tallied a career-high seven rebounds and two steals against the Magicians.
On the season, Walter Peggs Jr. leads the team in scoring at 17.7 points along with 4.2 rebounds per game, followed by Veal at 15.0 points per contest. The Badgers have six scorers that average more than seven points, and shoot 45.5 percent from the field, 35.7 percent from three, and 72.6 percent from the free throw line on the year.
