TUSKEGEE – Tuskegee tennis returns to the court this weekend with a pair of non-conference matches against Auburn Montgomery and Mobile.

Matchup: Tuskegee vs. Mobile
Date/Time: Saturday, Feb. 24 | 11 a.m. CT
Location: Pepsico Tennis Courts (Tuskegee, Ala.)

On the men's side, Tuskegee is coming off a 4-2 trip at the first SIAC Round-Up, falling to Spring Hill before bouncing back to sweep Fort Valley State (7-0), Morehouse (5-0), and LeMoyne-Owen (5-0), and defeating Lane (4-1) before closing with a loss to Benedict (5-2).
 
The duo of Eliyahu Pinkney and Torain Alleyne have led the double units so far on the season for the Golden Tigers, holding a 3-4 mark so far and 2-1 mark in conference play. In all, Tuskegee is 7-13 in dual doubles, with a 5-4 mark in the SIAC.
 
Meanwhile, four players have earned four wins in singles play, in Ty'lon Miller (4-4), Zamani Moyo (4-3), Teryon Newbold-Hudson (4-3), and Tyler Ladge (4-2). Jack Shaw (3-1) follows with three, while Alleyne, Keith Moultrie, and Miles Wilson all have two wins on the year.

Tuskegee women's tennis is off to a hot start at 9-2 overall and 9-0 in the SIAC, which includes the best start to conference play in program history. The Golden Tigers defeated Spring Hill on the road in the last match, which followed an 8-0 mark in Mobile in the first SIAC Round-Up.
 
Taylor Ford has the best singles mark so far at 8-2 on the year, followed by Chloe Griffin-Harrington (5-1) and Dayna Jackson (5-2), and Jamiya Ivory, Devynn Jackson, and Tanyaradzwa Kaome who all have four single wins. The team improved to 38-14 in dual singles, including a combined 23-3 mark at the No. 4, No. 5, and No. 6 positions.
 
In dual doubles, the Golden Tigers are a combined 18-9 this spring.  The duo of reigning SIAC Women's Tennis Player of the week Dayna Jackson and Taylor Ford leads the program with seven wins, while Gabrielle Geary and Barbara Phillips have four. The duos of Chloe Griffin-Harrington/Jamiya Ivory and Devynn Jackson/Tanyaradzwa Kaome have each collected three victories. The best position has been No. 2 where they team is 7-3.
