MONTGOMERY, Ala. __ Tuskegee fell at Auburn Montgomery 4-0 in its second non-conference match of the spring season.
The Golden Tigers fought through close doubles competition, but the Warhawks took the doubles point. The pair of
Tanyaradzwa Kaome and
Devynn Jackson fell in a close game on court No. 1, 6-4. On court No. 2,
Taylor Ford and reigning SIAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week
Dayna Jackson fell 6-2, while
Barbara Phillips and
Gabrielle Geary were swept 6-0.
Auburn Montgomery took all points across the board in singles play, leading them to win the match 4-0. Kaome was defeated on court one (6-2, 6-0), followed by an unfinished game from Da. Jackson (6-5, 2-1) at court two, and De. Jackson fell on court three (6-1, 6-1).
Chloe Griffin-Harrington played in No. 4 spot, falling to her opponent 6-1, 6-1, while both courts five and six went unfinished as the win was already secured.
