TUSKEGEE, Ala. – Tuskegee University football will be represented by senior running back Johnny Morris and junior kicker Lorcan Ryans at the 2025 SIAC Football Media Day, scheduled for Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at the historic Tubman African American Museum in Macon, Georgia.
All 13 football-playing institutions in the SIAC will gather for two days of community engagement, media availability, and a preview of the upcoming season.
Morris returns for his final season after leading the Golden Tigers' ground game the past two years. The senior has amassed 856 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns over his career. In 2023, Morris had a breakout season, rushing for nearly 500 yards and seven touchdowns on an average of six yards per carry on his way to leading the Tuskegee rushing attack.
He followed that in 2024 with 374 yards on 177 carries and four touchdowns, after playing just seven games due to injury last season. The senior has also contributed as a pass-catcher and special teams presence, showing versatility and leadership in all phases of the game.
Ryans, a junior, handled kicking and punting duties last season, and has been a consistent special teams weapon for Tuskegee. As a kicker, he has gone 22-for-25 on field goals over the last two seasons, with a long of 47 yards. As a punter, he averaged 34.6 yards per punt with a career-long boot of 69 yards. Ryans' reliability and strong leg make him one of the top specialists in the conference heading into the 2025 season.
