High School: Played four years at Memphis East High School for coach Marcus Wimberly… Named Defensive Back of the Year during senior season… Named First Team All-Region, and chosen to play in two all-star games… Played in the Tennessee-Kentucky All-Star Game, and the East-West Game… Recorded 116 tackles, nine interceptions and scored one touchdown during prep career… Recorded 43 tackles and five interceptions during senior year… Helped lead team to a pair of district championships… Also lettered in track and field.
 
Personal: Son of Sharonda Hardrick and Darrell Lackland… Has six siblings – Sincere, Savian, Shia, Serenity, Damian and Seth… Plans on majoring in Accounting.
