Pamela Perkins has led the Tuskegee Golden Tigers volleyball program for four seasons, after getting hired in August of 2021, guiding the team through growth and competitive play in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC).

The 2023 season showed marked improvement for Coach Perkins' squad, as they reached the SIAC postseason tournament for the first time since 2018. Tuskegee finished with a 9-21 overall record and 7-12 in conference play. Offensively, the team recorded 1,055 kills, averaging 9.95 kills per set, with a hitting percentage of .111. The team's serve received a boost, tallying 160 service aces and averaging 1.51 aces per set. On defense, the team totaled 1,485 digs for an average of 14.01 digs per set, with strong performances from key players like Moriah Seay, who contributed 330 digs during the season.

In the 2022 season, Tuskegee faced a tough schedule, finishing with a 2-23 overall record and 2-18 in the SIAC. The team registered 626 kills and averaged 7.54 kills per set. Under Coach Perkins' leadership, the team managed 75 service aces and 1.18 blocks per set. Defensively, they recorded 1,003 digs, with an average of 12.08 digs per set, as they continued to develop their young roster?.

In the 2021 season, Coach Perkins' team played 15 matches, finishing with a 3-12 overall record and 3-11 in conference play. The team recorded a total of 456 kills with a .050 hitting percentage. Despite the team's challenges offensively, they showed resilience with 81 service aces and averaged 1.53 aces per set. Defensively, the team accumulated 629 digs, averaging 11.87 digs per set, with notable contributions from players like Jazmine Green, who recorded 230 digs (4.34 per set).

From 2013 to 2015, Pamela Perkins (formerly Pamela Allen) was a standout player for the Tuskegee Golden Tigers volleyball team, establishing herself as a key contributor on both offense and defense.

In her first year, she played 79 sets across 21 matches, contributing 196 kills (2.48 kills per set) with a .267 hitting percentage. She was also active on defense, recording 39 digs and tallying 69 total blocks (33 solo, 36 assists), making her a crucial presence at the net. Her 27 service aces highlighted her serving prowess throughout the season.

The Montgomery native elevated her game in 2014 as a sophomore, playing in 97 sets across 27 matches. She registered 277 kills (2.86 kills per set) and an impressive .361 hitting percentage, leading the team offensively. On defense, she added 57 digs and continued to dominate at the net with 54 total blocks (23 solo, 31 assists). She also led the team with 36 service aces, showing her well-rounded skill set.

The 2015 season was arguably Perkins' best, as she played in 100 sets over 31 matches. She racked up 337 kills (3.37 kills per set), maintaining a .366 hitting percentage over 651 attack attempts. Defensively, she notched 62 digs and was a force at the net with 62 total blocks (43 solo, 19 assists). Her ability to contribute in all areas of the game earned her 418.5 total points, with an average of 4.19 points per set.

Perkins was a vital contributor for Tuskegee Volleyball, excelling in both offensive and defensive roles. Her standout performances, especially in 2015, showcased her leadership, versatility, and dominance on the court, which she has carried into her coaching career as a head coach.
