ATLANTA – In a rigid contest, the Golden Tigers' Vladmir Tilme released the ball right before the crowd heard BUZZ; the ball swished smoothly through the net. With no time remaining Tuskegee won the game, 65-63.

The Golden Tigers opened the contest with a 6-0 run in the first four minutes. The Panthers were not allowed to score until the 16:33 mark, when they landed two baskets from the charity line. The largest margin of the half came with 4:56 left, as Tuskegee held a nine-point lead. Clark rallied back to take a 32-29 lead going into halftime.  

The Panthers extended their lead coming from the locker rooms, yet they were unable to stop the surge by the Golden Tigers. The game came down to the final seconds, providing the fans with a thrilling finish. With 33 ticks remaining the score was deadlocked at 61. With a trip to the charity strip, Tuskegee went up by two, however Clark tied it back up with five lonely seconds left. The Golden Tigers inbounded the ball and left it all in the air to clinch the victory.  

David Alexander put up an amazing performance with, 22 points, five rebounds and one assist. Graham Olatunji added 18 points, three rebounds, two steals and one assist. Camden Foster was the star when it comes to rebounds with 12; he also put up six points and two rebounds.
 
The Golden Tigers finished shooting 44.5 percent from the field and 72.2 from the free throw line. They finished with 37 rebounds, seven assists, seven steals, and two blocks.
