TUSKEGEE, Ala. | The Tuskegee University men's tennis team opens the season Sunday afternoon, hitting the road to face conference foe Morehouse College at 12 noon (est) in Atlanta.
The Golden Tigers return seven players from last season's team, including Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Year
Oshane Trail. A senior from Ocho Rios, Jamaica, was a key component as the Golden Tigers finished 8-5 in conference play and earned the number two seed in the men's championship bracket. Trail earned First Team honors in singles and doubles, joining two other players in the conference to earn the same honor.
Tuskegee also returns seniors
Joseph Messam and
Michael Graham for their final season of eligibility. They also return junior
Reggie Richardson, alongisde sophomores
Jalen Law and
Brandon Sewell.
The Golden Tigers open the season with seven consecutive road matches, before returning home to face the University of North Alabama on March 6.
