ATLANTA | The Tuskegee University men's tennis team opened the 2016 season on the road Sunday afternoon, falling to Morehouse College 9-0.
Tuskegee (0-1) narrowly missed out on a pair of points – one in singles and the other in doubles play. In doubles action, the number one team of
Oshane Trail and
Brandon Sewell fell 8-6.
Trail had a chance to get Tuskegee on the board in singles, falling in three sets to Everette Reese 7-6, 0-6, 12-14 at number one singles.
The Golden Tigers return to action next week, facing the University of West Alabama at 1pm.
