LIVINGSTON, Ala. | The Tuskegee University men's tennis team dropped their second consecutive match as they fell 5-0 to the University of West Alabama in non-conference action Tuesday afternoon.
West Alabama (1-0) took a 2-0 lead before play started as Tuskegee did have number six singles, nor number three doubles in action this afternoon.
West Alabama extended the lead to 4-0 when the number one doubles team of Casper Schuetze and Henrik Sinkko defeated Tuskegee's team of
Oshane Trail and
Brandon Sewell, 8-1. The end of doubles came when the number two doubles team from West Alabama defeated
Michael Graham and
Reggie Richardson of Tuskegee, 8-0.
In singles play, West Alabama got wins at number two and number three before the remainder of the match was not finished due to falling temperatures and windy conditions.
Tuskegee (0-2) returns to action Thursday against Stillman College in Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action. The match begins at 10 am Thursday morning in Tuscaloosa.
