TUSKEGEE — The Tuskegee Tennis teams will travel south to Mobile this weekend to compete in the first Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) Round up of the season, facing a flurry of league opponents over the next few days at the Gerald L. Wallace Tennis Center on the campus of Spring Hill.

On the women's side, Tuskegee will face eight conference opponents over a four-day span, from Thursday to Sunday. The Golden Tigers enters league play having lost its first two dual matches of the spring, falling 7-0 and 6-0 in a non-conference doubleheader against Montevallo in Montgomery on Saturday (Feb. 3).

Last season, TU went 14-5 overall and 12-2 in conference play, winning ten straight matches before entering the 2023 SIAC Tennis Championships and finishing in the quarterfinal round.

On the men's side, TU will face off against six SIAC opponents in a three-day span from Thursday to Saturday.
 
Tuskegee enters conference play at 1-2 overall. The Golden Tigers opened the spring season with a 6-1 home win over Marion Military Institute (Feb. 2), before losing a pair of matches (7-0, 7-0) in Montgomery against Montevallo in a Saturday doubleheader (Feb. 3).
