ATLANTA, Ga. — The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) announced its 2025 baseball regular season honors on Thursday morning, and the Tuskegee University Golden Tigers were well represented.
Three student-athletes earned All-Conference accolades after strong campaigns, led by standout utility man Ryan Morrow, who earned First Team honors, was named the SIAC Utility Player of the Year, and was selected as the Elite 16 Award winner for having the highest cumulative GPA among participants in the championship tournament.
Morrow, a versatile presence both at the plate and in the field, proved to be one of the league's most productive and reliable players throughout the year.
He finished the regular season batting .347 while starting in 43 of Tuskegee's 48 games. His 50 hits ranked among the team leaders, and he also contributed six doubles, three triples, one home run, and 41 RBI, while swiping 22 bases on 26 attempts.
Morrow's .429 on-base percentage, combined with his ability to play multiple defensive positions and impact the game in many facets, made him an easy choice for the league's top utility honor.
Equally impressive off the field, Morrow earned the SIAC Elite 16 Award for his academic excellence, reinforcing his status as a true student-athlete and leader for the program.
Joining Morrow on the All-SIAC teams was starting pitcher Mikelle Mason, who earned Second Team recognition.
Mason anchored the Golden Tigers' rotation and finished the regular season with a team-best seven wins. The right-hander compiled a 7-6 record across 14 appearances (11 starts) and logged 66.1 innings pitched. He struck out 52 batters while limiting opposing hitters to a .256 batting average.
Despite facing a rigorous schedule, Mason's competitiveness and ability to give his team quality starts throughout conference play made him one of the league's most respected pitchers.
Rounding out Tuskegee's All-Conference selections was Alex Glass, who secured a spot on the Second Team as a third baseman.
Glass was a consistent force in the lineup, posting a .347 batting average while appearing in 35 games, all but one of them as a starter.
He tallied 41 hits, including eight doubles, five triples, and two home runs, while driving in 23 runs. Glass also added nine stolen bases, showcasing his all-around game.
At the hot corner, he contributed to Tuskegee's defensive efforts while anchoring a key role in the batting order all season long.
The trio helped guide Tuskegee to a 19-29 overall record and a 15-18 mark in conference play, earning the Golden Tigers a spot in the 2025 Cricket SIAC Baseball Championship tournament.
Their individual accomplishments highlight a season of growth and promise for the program, as they aim to continue building a strong foundation for future success.
Tuskegee baseball will now look to carry the momentum into postseason play as they begin tournament action on Thursday in Macon, Georgia.
