ATLANTA | The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) released the bracket for the 2015 SIAC Volleyball Championships that will be played at The Crossplex in Birmingham this week.
 
Tuskegee (17-11, 13-8) finished second in the West Division with their two victories last week over Miles and Albany State. With the victories and the seeding, the Tigerettes will face Clark Atlanta in their first match of the championship.
 
Tuskegee and Clark Atlanta , the third seed out of the East Division, will meet in the first match of the championship beginning at 10 am (cst). The winner will advance to the winner's bracket match at 12 noon on Thursday against either Claflin (1E) or Miles (4W), while the loser drops to the 10 am match on Thursday against either Claflin or Miles.
 
Other matches on the opening day of the tournament include Albany State (2E) against Stillman (3W), and Kentucky State (1W) against Benedict (4E) at 4 pm.
 
Tuskegee and Clark Atlanta met earlier this season in the SIAC Crossover, with Clark Atlanta winning that match 3-0. Since that match, Tuskegee has won 11 of their last 17 matches.
