TUSKEGEE, Ala. | After three weeks away from competition, the Tuskegee University men's tennis team returned to action falling to Morehouse College 7-2 in Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action Sunday morning.
Tuskegee (3-7, 3-5 SIAC) started the match down two points after defaulting at number three doubles and number six singles. The Maroon Tigers took a 4-0 lead when they claimed victories at number one and two doubles, although
Oshane Trail and
Michael Graham fought to win a point in doubles as they fell 8-6.
In singles play, after Morehouse won at number five singles all of the remaining matches went to pro sets. Tuskegee won points at number one and number four singles with Trail winning 14-12 at number one and
Reggie Richardson winning at number four 10-5.
The Golden Tigers return to action Monday afternoon against Point University on the road. The match will take place in Valley (Ala.), with the start time set for 1 pm (est).
