Box Score 1 TUSKEGEE, Ala. I Tuskegee (10-13, 8-7 SIAC) dropped a home series over the weekend to Savannah State in Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) play by scores of 11-2, 17-4, and 14-2 at Washington Field.
Savannah State 11, Tuskegee 2
After two scoreless innings, Savannah State got on the board in the third with a three-run home run before Tuskegee responded with a run afterÂ
Russell Coleman (Laurel, Miss.) singled and later scored on a drive to center field from
Corey Stallings (Richton Park, Ill.).

Savannah State scored four runs in the fourth, the first on an RBI single and the remainder on another three-run homer. They later added another pair of runs in the sixth and one in both the seventh and ninth to take an 11-1 lead.

Coleman drove in the second run for Tuskegee in the final frame with a single to score
Alex Glass (Birmingham, Ala.).

Savontae Williams (Riverdale, Ga.) took the loss for Golden Tigers after surrendering ten runs on nine hits over seven innings, striking out four. Three Golden Tigers earned two hits on the day including
Caleb Cobb (Hockley, Texas), Coleman, and
Albert Gonzalez (Brooklyn, N.Y.), while Coleman and Glass scored.
Savannah State 17, Tuskegee 4 (7 Inn.)
After three early runs from Savannah State, Tuskegee responded in the bottom of the first to tie the game. Gonzalez drove in Stallings for the first score with an RBI double to center field, before Cobb and Gonzalez scored before the end of the inning.

Savannah State broke the game open in the second, scoring nine runs over the next two innings and adding four more in the sixth and a final in the seventh to take a 16-3 lead.

The Golden Tigers added a run to their total in the bottom of the seventh, as
Evan Jones (Tuscaloosa, Ala.) tripled with one out and later scored on a double from
Jaylen Hill (Jonesboro, Ga.).

Jalan Daniels (Atlanta, Ga.) earned the start and allowed four hits over 3.1 innings and struck out four, while Baker,
Maizen Price (Charlotte, N. C.), and
Kameron Keller (Chicago, Ill.) all contributed in relief.

Barnes went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead the Golden Tigers, while five other batters earned hits in the loss.
Savannah State 14, Tuskegee 2 (7 Inn.)
With the game scoreless after four, Savannah State won the game in the fifth, scoring 14 runs in the inning. The Golden Tigers scored a pair of runs in the sixth on an RBI single from
Harrison Barnes (Cincinnati, Ohio) to score Cobb and Gonzalez, one of the team's five hits in the game.

Deangelo Nowell (Atlanta, Ga.) led things off on the mound for Tuskegee, working 4.2 innings, allowing nine runs on six hits, and striking out one.
Hunter Hudson (Montgomery, Ala.) and
Tyler Baker (Mobile, Ala.) entered the game from the bullpen, throwing two innings and one-third of an inning respectively.
