PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. I The Golden Tiger tennis team travels to Georgia to take on Spring Hill College in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference semifinal at 3 p.m. CST.
Tuskegee (8-9, 7-4 SIAC) enters the contest after a 3-2 outing in the SIAC Round-up in Mobile earlier this season (March 24-26) to clinch a spot in the semifinal. The Golden Tigers have faced off against Spring Hill twice so far in the year, falling in each round-up by scores of 4-0 on both occasions.
Spring Hill (13-11, 10-1 SIAC) has been one of the top teams in the conference all season, holding a 9-6 record at home and a 4-1 record at neutral site venues. The Badgers have split their last two matches, defeating Christian Brothers 5-2 (April 2) before falling to Division I Alabama State (April 3) 7-0.
The winner of Saturday's match will take part in the SIAC Championship game on Sunday, scheduled for 12 noon CST.
