ORANGEBURG, S.C. __ Tuskegee volleyball returns to action for a non-conference match on the road against Claflin University on Monday evening.
The match is set to start at 6 p.m. EST inside of Tullis Arena, finishing a home-and-home season series between the two programs.
Tuskegee (0-3, 0-1 SIAC) is looking to avenge a tight 3-2 loss last Monday (Sept. 11) at home against Claflin, along with earn the first win of the year. First year players have performed well so far for the Golden Tigers, with junior college transfer
Moriah Seay leading the team with 31 kills (2.82 k/set), along with four other newcomers who have at least ten kills. Two players have over 25 assists, as
Mikea Allen leads the team with 47 total, followed by freshman
Rita Nua with 28 on the year.
Claflin (2-2, 1-1 CIAA) enters the contest after recently being swept by Shaw at home on Thursday (Sept. 14). The Panthers currently have seven players to record double figure kills and four with double figure assist totals.
